Off course was caused by heat stress but they'll need to make sure of it I'm attaching a couple of pictures, and because of the place of the crack is highly unlikely to be caused by a rock chip.. It was checked out by a Kia rep and replaced under warranty, its been fine for 3 years now.. Heat Stress Crack (from grid heaters is random classic issue) only on inside as you say.. Thanks!
